Stalking is a serious social issue that happens more often than most realize.
The majority of stalking victims keep it to themselves or fail to realize it is happening. Stalking can, and often does, lead to rape, murder, blackmail and theft. Stalking Awareness Month reminds people of the problem and to urges them educate themselves, learning the warning signs and take appropriate precautions.
